“Spend time today doing something positive and beneficial for your life before you spend tomorrow wishing you did.” -Michael J. Fite
Keep this in mind whenever you find yourself wondering if you have time to do something for yourself today. When you take time to do something positive and beneficial for yourself, it makes you feel good about yourself; and it can be the catalyst for either starting something new, continuing on with doing something, or finishing something that you wanted to do. When you put off doing something for yourself today, you miss that opportunity to feed yourself and your goals for that day.
If you are doing something positive and beneficial for your life today, I commend you for doing so because it shows that you value yourself and your goals. If you are not doing something today to benefit your life and goals, I must ask you these three questions:
- Why are you not taking advantage of today to do something good in your life?
- What or who are you waiting on in order to do something good for yourself?
- What makes tomorrow any better than today if tomorrow is not promised?
I am interesting in knowing your answers because I am sure that despite your answers being different from everyone else, the common denominators are: FEAR AND LAZINESS! When you let fear and laziness drive your life, you find never taking advantage of what is front of you. Let’s change that mindset today starting with right now!
I want to share with you a video from my personal vault that can give you insight of how to take advantage of today versus tomorrow. What I encourage you to do is to open your eyes and mind to what is around you and enjoy what today has to offer you. You will see that just by you taking today to do something for yourself, you are starting something that can have a long-term effect on your life and the world around you.
Let’s remember that what you do today can affect whether your tomorrow will be successful or not, so start by doing something good for yourself today.
What are you going to do for yourself today to have a better tomorrow?
