What are the ingredients of a dilemma?

In order to deal with a dilemma, you got to know what makes up the dilemma. There are a variety of factors, but here are the five main ingredients when it comes to you and your dilemmas:

  1. First Ingredient: You
    • At the center of your dilemma is you because you are the one who is faced with your dilemmas.
    • With you, the dilemma will never find your life.

  5. The Fifth and Final Ingredient: The Result/Consequence
    • Based on your answer, your dilemma now becomes solved and a result or consequence will come from it.
    • The result or consequence may be either easy or hard to deal with depending on how tough either the dilemma, the options, or decision was for you.

What makes a dilemma difficult to deal with and solve?

Not every dilemma you deal with is meant to be easy to deal with and solve. Here are a few things that can make your dilemma difficult on you.

  1. Yourself
    • A dilemma can be complicated by your thoughts and feelings about the situation.
    • You may wind up over thinking an option or rushing to a decision if you are not careful with handling the dilemma at hand.
  2. People or things involved.
    • A dilemma can be difficult when it involves things or people whom you share some type of connection with.
    • Those people or things can force you to compromise your integrity and make your decision based on loyalty and favoritism.
  3. Time
    • A dilemma may prove to be stressful when time becomes a major factor in your decision-making process
    • If you do not use your time wisely, you may wind up rushing a decision or probably not make a decision due to time running out.
  4. The Options/Decision/Consequences Phase
    • You do not want to deal with a dilemma that comes with a difficult set of options and consequences that can have an effect on you, something, or someone else that you care about.
    • This can force you probably decide not to deal with the dilemma, but the funny thing is that by not dealing with your dilemma, you are already making a decision that will come with an even bigger consequence later on.

The dilemma obviously comes with its set of challenges, but you got to face and deal with them head on.

  1. Nice formula but there is a dilemma with this also. Despite a logical formula most people will always make a decision based on how they feel rather then what is the logically course of action, hence they make the un-wise choice which will either put them in dilemma after dilemma….
