“Success does not come easy later in life unless you put in hard work first.” -Michael J. Fite
Keep this in mind whenever you look at trying to achieve something in your life. If you are not willing to put in the work necessary to achieve what you want, you will find yourself still in the same spot in your life. You will also envy and hate those who are successful and did the hard work. When you do put in the hard work in the beginning, you will find that as you make progress, things become easier and you will eventually accomplish what you want in life.
Hard work is naturally meant to separate the successful from the mediocre. The successful do the hard work and conquer challenges while the mediocre run from hard work and fall back into a comfort zone.
I am seeing this when it comes to my military career. I remember sitting in recruit training on day one having the division commander tell all of us to look at everyone around us because only one person would be left. As a brand new recruit, I did know what that meant exactly, but time would reveal the answers.
In ten years, I have seen that many people are not able to do the hard work necessary, and for various factors and reasons, they eventually leave the military. I have seen that the ones who do rise to the top are the ones who actually put in the hard work to train, study, take chances, and show resolve. I am one of those guys who did it and continue to do the hard work that is necessary to succeed every day.
If you can do the hard work necessary, it will pay off in end when you are standing tall and successful. Your future depends on you doing so or else you will never get to where you want to be in life. Let’s remember that when you run from hard work, you run from success; but if you run towards the hard work, you run towards success.
Are you willing to work hard now to achieve success later?
