Keep this in mind when it comes to understanding the dangers of placing a ban on yourself.
It is easy to ban or prevent yourself from doing or being apart of anything that you may consider to be unsafe, harmful, or dangerous. On one hand, you are playing safe because you are avoiding risks and staying in your comfort zone. On the other hand, you are keeping yourself from learning what life has to offer and seeing what you are fully capable of.
Today’s inspiration is about the ban that you have on yourself. We will take a look at the following:

As mentioned earlier, it is easy to place a personal ban against yourself being and experiencing more in life. Here are three things about yourself that can cause you to do it:

- When you are afraid and worried about someone or something that could harm you or put you in harm’s way, you will give yourself a personal ban against that person or thing.

- Your lack of understanding about someone or something can cause you to place your personal ban against yourself when you are faced with the following:
- When you have no desire to learn about something that is new or could change everything that you have come to know over time.
- When you truly do not know what the future will bring when it comes to a person or thing.

- Anyone or anything that can say or do something that can alter what you believe in religiously, personally, or professionally can cause you to place a personal ban against yourself so that you do not have to hear it.

- Your personal ban is preventing you getting to know total strangers that may ultimately wind up being your next friend, lover, or life partner.

What are five steps towards lifting your personal ban against yourself?
If you have a personal ban against yourself, it is time to lift that ban right now! Here are five steps as to how you can make it happen:

Understand why you have your personal ban in the first place.
- If you are going to lift your personal ban, you must first fully comprehend it.
- You can do this through research and asking people who have similar bans on life as you do.

Look to finding ways to lift your personal ban.
- Once you know what your personal ban is all about, the next step is for you to find ways to lift your ban.
- You can use your research to help you find a way and establish a plan that will help you lift your personal band.

Have faith.
- With your plan in place, it is time for you to place faith and confidence in yourself and higher power to face what is front on you.
- You can say it verbally, write it down, or even meditate about it until your mind is trained to believe in what you are about to do.

Lift your personal ban.
- With your plan and confidence in place, it is time to lift your personal ban.
- Simply move forward and do not look back at the people and things that helped you to place that ban on yourself in the first place.

Do not be afraid of what the future will hold.
- Now that your personal ban is lifted, do not let fears, doubt, or sabotage make you have to place another personal ban against yourself.
- You can do this by allowing the experiences to shape, mold, and teach you without any interference from you or anyone else.
