“Alone, we can do so little; together we can do so much.” -Hellen Keller
Keep this in mind when you look at what you can do together when a man and woman becomes one.
For today’s inspiration, I want to share another poem, but this time it is aimed at the men. Women, if you want to share this with a man who needs this, feel to do so. I want to share a message to the men who are looking at the love of their life in the face, but may be afraid of failure or being wrong.
Back in 2001, I took a chance to rub and massage the feet of a lady in the park. I never rubbed any woman’s feet prior to her, but for some reason, it felt right because when I looked in to her eyes, I saw someone who wanted more. I am glad that I did because we would wind up doing the following together over a span of 15 years and counting:
- Living together in 2002.
- Getting married in 2003.
- Lived and travelled in many places.
- Become proud parents.
- Defied the odds and naysayers daily.
My point here is that sometimes, when you see your love, you got to get her. Do not waste time thinking or pondering about the possibilities, but instead, you got to get her. Together you and her can do a lot and be a lot more, but if you never get her, you will never experience it. Let’s remember in order to live a happy life together with the love of your life, you got to get her first!
And now to my poem entitled: To Get Her
What does it means for you man to get her
In your life so that you two can be one
And have that feeling that you have just won
The lottery of being together?
To get her, you must prove there’s no other
Lady that can make your life filled with fun
To where you are proud to call her your hun
In order for your love to go further.
I want you to get her in your life now
Because she is the best option you got
When it comes to a lady than and wow
And woo you with her looks all in one shot.
You need to get her and make her your wife
Because alone, your life is incomplete,
But together, you will enjoy a life
That makes both of you full, whole, complete.
